Following the government briefing around the Coronavirus escalation yesterday we have decided to take the proactive step of closing our group sessions at 1pm today.

We have made adjustments to allow for 30 min one on one training sessions and outdoor (no equipment) group sessions in our covered parking area. We have also created a home workout program, online community group and weekly challenges to keep everyone motivated in these tough times!

The one on one sessions are available to book via this online and you will have recieved an email directly.

We will be able to provide each member 2 of these sessions per week with private use of the gym. We will also run outdoor large group training sessions in our covered car park area, these will require no equipment, just a yoga mat if you have one. Our schedule for these will also follow later today along with the booking systems.

This is temporary of course and we will be aiming to reopen as usual as soon as possible. As many of you may know I have been running a successful online fitness business for the past 8 years helping coach, support and motivate people to achieve their goals. We are utilising all of these elements to build you training routines that you can use at home with whatever kit you have available as well as creating weekly workouts for all!

Home workouts, to keep you healthy and active (perhaps more important now than ever)
Nutritional & goal setting consultations, to get you closer to your goals
Live streamed workouts, to keep you in touch with your favourite faces
Coaches Q&A sessions, for the usual fun and informative frolics

This is obviously a slightly different set up to usual, but we guarantee that it will be the same exceptional K1 service! There is no doubt that this is an unprecedented time for all of us, but there is no reason why we can’t embrace the chaos and make the most out of a changing situation.

We will keep everyone fit. We will keep everyone healthy. And we will keep everyone in a positive head space. Because that is what the K1 community will always be about.

More to follow shortly

David

PS. There will no doubt be some questions around administration and logistics, all of which we will cover off in our communications in due course.
