These terms and conditions are entered into by and between DK Fitness Ltd (hereinafter: “K1 Fitness”) and You (hereinafter: “the Member”). 


The membership entitles the usage of K1 Fitness facilities and the equipment & services available therein. The membership gives access to all K1 Fitness sites, except if specified otherwise.


The membership is personal, and cannot be shared.

Age Limit

The Member confirms that he/she is 18 years old or older.


The Member confirms that he/she does not suffer from health problems that would hinder exercise or prevent him/her from engaging in exercise, or that would be detrimental or adverse to the Member’s health, safety or physical condition if he/she did exercise. In case of any doubt, the Member shall seek advice by a medical doctor who should confirm the ability to exercise.

K1 Fitness shall have no obligation to perform a fitness assessment or similar testing to determine the Member’s physical condition. If an assessment is done at K1 Fitness, it is for the sole purpose of compiling comparative data in order to track the Member’s progress in a programme and not for diagnostic purposes.


Each Member of K1 Fitness shall be liable for any property damage and/or personal injury caused by the Member on the K1 Fitness premises. It shall be the obligation of the Member to pay for any costs involved upon presentation of a statement thereof.

Waiver of Liability

Any and all use of the K1 Fitness facilities shall be at Member’s own risk at all times. The Member shall not utilise any equipment unless he/she knows the appropriate usage. K1 Fitness shall not be liable for any injuries, physical impact or damages to the Member, or the property of the Member, or be subject to any claim arising out of the use of the premises and/or of the equipment made available to the users.

Lockers for Personal Belongings

Lockers are available for Members while working out in the facility. Each Member needs to empty the locker when leaving the facility. K1 Fitness will open and empty lockers if the Member is not in the facility.

Lost Property or Theft

 K1 Fitness does not take responsibility for loss or theft of any personal belongings. Any items left on K1 Fitness premises will be kept for a period of two weeks before being disposed of.

Code of Conduct

The Member shall respect the behavioural and operating principles of K1 Fitness, as laid out in our code of conduct.

Non-Solicitation Agreement

As a valued client of K1 Fitness, you agree not to approach any of our staff members for personal training services outside of K1 Fitness. Our staff members are prohibited from providing personal training services to any client outside of K1 Fitness. Any violation of this agreement will result in immediate termination of the client’s membership at K1 Fitness.

Suspension/Termination of Membership

If the Member behaves in a way that breaches the code of conduct membership can be suspended or terminated at management’s sole discretion.

Access & Security

K1 Fitness is open Monday to Friday 6am until 9pm, and Saturday from 7am – 3pm, with the exception of bank holidays and exceptional circumstances, when times may vary. Classes are available according to times stated in the K1 Fitness booking system. Classes and instructors are subject to change with no prior notice.


The Member is responsible for the payment of the membership. This is true even if the amount is debited directly by K1 Fitness. Agreed price only applies if the Member pays according to the agreed conditions.

Cancelation Policy

We recognise that many people’s circumstances change. In such an event, should you wish to cancel your membership we ask that you notify, in writing, we run a strict 60 day cancellation policy as we have no long term membership terms. This needs to be done before the next payment is due of the month in order to be effective from 60 days later. Where notification is not received before the 60 days of the month, we reserve the right to collect any monies outstanding in the event of this agreement not being upheld. If you wish to re-start your membership with us you will be required to pay the current membership fees.

Pause of membership

You will only be able to pause or freeze membership for a medical procedure or if you are self isolating with Covid19. Otherwise normal cancellation terms apply.

Price Changes

All prices are fixed for the duration of a membership. Any prices changes will be communicated at least one month prior to implementation.

Parking Policy

At K1 we are proud to offer on site parking for members, currently this allows 8 people to park on site. If there is no space available alternative parking must be found (See map below). We have a good relationship with the local business community and would ask you to refrain from parking in non allocated spaces. All staff park off site to allow members to park at K1.
